Shaking Up ‘No Kings’ in NYC

On Saturday, October 17th, the Democratic Party’s collection of billionaires and foundations decided to sponsor another national day for “No Kings” outreach. In New York City, it took the form of a rally in Washington Square Park.

The Center for Political Innovation was on the scene, loudly saying, “Iran is not our enemy!” With placards and a bullhorn, regional organizers agitated about why the wars serve the globalists/imperialists and why we need a government of action to fight for working families.

Noah Shenk countered the slogan “No Kings” with the historic mantra of Huey Long, “Every man a king.” Local activist Eric Rossi spoke on the bullhorn about recent activities criminalizing people living in their cars as conditions get worse.

CPI activists were interviewed by many media outlets and distributed hundreds of palm cards promoting our anti-imperialist, pro-working-families message.
