Paul Greene-Dennis attended the National Iranian American Council’s (NIAC) Stop the War on Iran rally in front of Hakeem Jeffries’ and Gregory Meeks’ office on October 20 as a representative of CPI. He joined fellow anti-imperialists to show solidarity, demand an end to the war of aggression against Iran, and call for peace with Iran. The rally included four demands:
End all funding for the illegal war against Iran and all U.S. support for Israel’s crimes.
Enforce the War Powers Resolution to end the war.
Call for an investigation into war crimes, including the Minab school bombing, the attack on an Iranian wedding, and all civilian casualties.
Publicly call for peace with Iran, including lifting all destructive sanctions.
The rally called for Hakeem Jeffries and Gregory Meeks to be held responsible not only for supporting the war, but also for supporting the genocide of Palestinians in Gaza.
