As the Sahel breaks free, CPI releases “The AES Effect”
The Story of the New World Being Built in West Africa
The AES Effect documents the most significant shift in West African geopolitics since independence. For decades, the Sahel provided the raw materials for Europe. Niger’s uranium lit the streets of Paris while the people of Niger sat in darkness and suffered the effects of radiation contamination in their air and water. Switzerland refined Mali’s and Burkina Faso’s gold and European textile mills processed their cotton for international markets while Burkinabès and Malians lived in squalor.
Since NATO bombed Libya, ISIS-aligned terrorist groups have been taking over the Sahel. Through a succession of coups in 2021, 2022 and 2023, General Assimi Goïta, Captain Ibrahim Traoré and General Abdourahamane Tchiani took power, expelled foreign troops, and formed a military and economic alliance to fight terrorism and reclaim the Sahel for the people.
Mali and Burkina Faso nationalized their gold. Niger took back its uranium. Burkina Faso is spinning its own cotton, processing its own tomatoes, and has opened its first gold refinery.
Despite sanctions, demands from the European Union, media smears, coordinated terrorist attacks and assassination attempts, the Alliance of Sahel States is still standing. Other African leaders are watching, and some are joining the wave of resource nationalization to break the chains of neocolonialism.
Some call Ibrahim Traoré a cult of personality or a demagogue. They call the transitional presidents junta leaders. What are the facts on the ground? How far will this movement spread?
The Center for Political Innovation stands firmly behind the Alliance of Sahel States. As the Imperialist/Globalist economic system run by Wall Street and London crumbles, a multipolar world is rising based on win-win trade and development. African liberation is a key pillar in this rising economy.
“The AES Effect is not just a book about Africa,” said Penny Arcos, author and CPI researcher. “It is a book about what happens when a people decide to build their own future on their own land. The Sahel is showing the world what sovereignty looks like.”
