No War with Iran! CPI Organizes Protests in 8 Cities Across America

On February 28th, as the US was attacking Iran, the Center for Political Innovation (CPI) organized protests in New York City, Chicago, Minneapolis, Los Angeles, and Portland. Smaller gatherings were also organized in Joshua Tree, California; St. Louis, Missouri; and Davenport, Iowa.

Participants emphasized the need for a government of action that fights for working families, and exposed the hijacking of the US government by the Zionist lobby and the “Epstein Class.” In every city, protests received an amazingly warm reception, with lots of thumbs up and signs of support, hundreds of flyers distributed, and many people taking photos and wanting more information about CPI and the anti-war movement.

The various protests can be viewed in a compilation video. The themes expressed over bullhorns, in leaflets, and in direct conversations with interested people included Israel’s nuclear arsenal, Iran’s role as an anti-imperialist center of resistance, Israel’s crimes in Gaza, similarities with recent attacks on Venezuela, the need to overcome false polarization and build a real populist movement, the danger of the emerging low-wage high-tech economy, and the nature of the globalist/imperialist system that Iran is standing against along with Russia, China, the Union of Sahel States in Africa, and other countries.
