August 15th in Chicago: “Finish The American Revolution!”

On August 15th, the Center for Political Innovation will hold its National Convention in Chicago, Illinois. All members, friends, interested media outlets, and political allies are invited to attend. We encourage those who oppose war, those who want to defend our civil liberties, those who want to see the U.S. economy rejuvenated, and those looking for solutions beyond the petty sloganeering of the left and right to join us.

The convention will be themed around the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence under the title: "Finish the American Revolution! End the British Empire System and Its Wars!"

Doors will open at 9:00 a.m. There will be music, food, discussion, regional reports, and educational presentations on the Innovationist perspective for moving the United States out of the decaying Globalist/Imperialist international financial order and into a new economy that invests in the next generation and human creativity on the basis of win-win cooperation around the world. The slogan of the Center for Political Innovation, "We Need A Government of Action To Fight For Working Families!", will be a central theme throughout the day.

Reports on international activities will include updates on Cuba and Venezuela and the need for anti-imperialist solidarity in Latin America. Guest speakers will also highlight the achievements of the Alliance of Sahel States (AES) in West Africa, as well as the prospects for ending the Ukraine war and achieving peace with Russia, including the vision of a Bering Sea tunnel connecting the United States with Russia via Alaska.

The dangerous grip of the Israel lobby and the Zionist faction over the U.S. political apparatus will not be overlooked. The convention will address ways to oppose U.S. complicity in Zionist crimes, as well as aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Axis of Resistance in the Middle East. The important role of the People's Republic of China as a force for human-centered development and win-win cooperation will also be discussed, along with analysis of the rise of far-left Democrats such as New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani. The prospects for a new anti-war political party put forward by voices like Thomas Massie, Marjorie Taylor Greene, and Tucker Carlson will also be analyzed.

The persecution of the Uhuru 3 and their struggle in federal court against the Foreign Agents Registration Act has been very important to the Center for Political Innovation and will be on the day's agenda. The ongoing court case of Dr. Hak Ja Han in South Korea, an important voice for the peaceful reunification of the Korean Peninsula, will also be discussed.

CPI founder and director Caleb Maupin, who has directly interacted with Russian President Vladimir Putin, conducted a face-to-face interview with Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, published numerous books, and had his work translated into many languages, will deliver the keynote presentation.

In the lead-up to the convention, Caleb Maupin has undertaken a media tour, appearing on Academic Agent, The Kim Iversen Show, Truthwire, Niko House, Pan African Media of Cameroon, Sabby Sabs, Homeless Left, Jamarl Thomas, Garland Nixon, and many other channels. He recently followed Dr. Cornel West as a guest on an episode of the Revolutionary Change podcast, and also participated in a lengthy face-to-face interview with Tara Reade and Olga Bateman on the Moscow-based program East Meets West. Caleb Maupin also recently attended a special reception with former U.S. Counter-Terrorism Director Joe Kent in Michigan. He also had a long conversation with
Col. Karen Kwiatkowski
. He is scheduled to appear on The Jimmy Dore Show on Friday, July 10th.

These appearances have been part of a publicity campaign surrounding his new book, Imperialism and Anti-Imperialism: Key Writings and Lectures from Caleb Maupin, which addresses many of the topics that will be discussed at the August 15th gathering.

Special guest appearances and solidarity messages are being arranged for the convention. Attendees should expect to be part of a gathering featuring important alternative media voices and leading figures within the broader movement for peace. The agenda of the Center for Political Innovation, along with its educational and activist work, will be presented throughout the day.

All who wish to attend the all-day gathering on August 15th MUST REGISTER.
