“Really American” Anti-War Video Highlights CPI 4-Point Plan

Since its’ creation in 2024, the Los Angeles chapter has been very focused on outreach all over the Los Angeles area from talking to victims of the L.A. fires and visitors to Shen Yun, to Stop Genocide in Palestine, to No War On Venezuela and now Iran. Since last summer at No Kings, they have also appeared on the No Jumper Podcast and the KTLA Evening News discussing the Venezuelan situation before President Maduro’s illegal kidnapping in January.

While doing outreach down the block from the No War On Iran protest, Western Regional Captain Dan ‘Nowman’ Niswander talked to one of the producers on the Really American YouTube channel that has over a million subscribers. Producer Kenny Hesse dressed as a 11th to 13th century Christian Crusader went to the No War On Iran rally in downtown L.A. to find supporters for Donald Trump and Pete Hegseth’s “Holy War.” He was theatrically referencing the way some military chaplains have claimed Trump’s murderous attack on Iran was sanctioned by God.

Kenny Hesse and his crew did a phenomenal job allowing rally participants to discuss with some thoughtful detail about what is really on many people’s minds. He had a nice light hearted approach and even created a scene with what he referred to as having a “come to Jesus moment,” as he put it.

The original crusades were created by Pope Urban II in the late 11th century to call Christians to war with Muslims in the hopes of seizing control of Jerusalem. The result was genocidal crimes against Muslims and death on a massive scale. The crusades are remembered, esspecially in the Muslim world, as a murderous episode of church-sanctioned plunder and conquest.

Not only was the L.A. group able to talk to the video crew and numerous passersby about the notion of a “Holy War” against Iran, but the Really American YouTube channel gave CPI an opportunity to share its’ website and YouTube channel information as well as the 4 Point Economic Plan and the tagline that we need a government of action for working families!!

These developments do give us some real hope for growing coalitions and collaborations in order to seriously and publicly address these very critical issues in these times.
