In the Streets of Minneapolis: STAND WITH RANJEET BRAR! Defend Free Speech!

On April 17th, CPI activists Gary Blatz and Penny Arcos hit the streets of Minneapolis to stand with Dr. Ranjeet Brar, the surgeon arrested in Britain for saying “Victory to Iran!”

Activists set up in a park in the downtown area. Hundreds of palm cards about the case were distributed. A placard reading “They Dragged Him to Jail After His Anti-Israel Speech” was displayed. Many passersby were very interested to learn about this attack on free speech in Britain, and why a respected doctor and communist writer would be arrested simply for giving a speech at a protest.

Organizers took the opportunity to sing a short song they wrote honoring Ranjeet Brar. WATCH!
