HIT THE STREETS Aug 15-16: Support the Peace Deal with Russia & Build the Bering Sea Peace Bridge

Call for National Days of Action on August 15th & 16th as the Russian and American Presidents meet in Alaska to end the Ukraine War.

U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin are scheduled to meet in Alaska on August 15th to sign an agreement that will bring the war in Ukraine—Russia’s special military operation—to an end.

This is a historic moment. We know that the forces that do not want peace and reconciliation will be out in full force to prevent this deal from going through. Now more than ever, we need visible support for peace between the United States and Russia.

The fact that Alaska is the site of the meeting is an amazingly good sign. The Center for Political Innovation has recently raised the call—previously trumpeted by many important thinkers—for a “Peace Bridge” connecting Russia and Alaska over the Bering Sea.

It is also important to highlight the role of Tulsi Gabbard, the Director of National Intelligence. Without her relentless advocacy and recent revelations of the nefarious “Russia-gate” fraud, this peace deal might not be possible.
