Finish the American Revolution! July 4th Anti-War Rally in Times Square

Just before July 4, 2026, the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, the Center for Political Innovation organized a small anti-war rally in Times Square. With two American flags, the flag of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and two large placards, friends and members of CPI took turns speaking to the large crowds in Times Square. The two foam boards read, “Iran is not our enemy! Epstein and the Israel Lobby are!” and “Finish the American Revolution! End the British Empire System and Its Wars!”

Speakers included an anti-Zionist Orthodox Jew, a minister from Mali, and CPI members from New York City, Long Island, and New Jersey. Many passersby expressed sympathy and support, including numerous uniformed military personnel who were in the square for a holiday-related event. Palm cards were distributed, and afterward members gathered for an informal dinner to discuss plans for regional activities in the coming months.
