Cuban Americans Rally in Miami

On Sunday Feb. 8 members of the Jose Martí Cultural Association rallied in Down town Miami.

They protested in opposition to Trump's new tough sanction measures that prohibit Cubans in Miami the right to travel to Cuba, send remittances, or care packages to their loved ones.

The rally was met by an organized counter protest of pro Trump far right Cuban fascists. That didn't dampen the spirits of the crowd in solidarity with Cuba. To the contrary, we were surprised by the level of public support we received from passersby, which frustrated the anti-Cuba crowd. In conclusion, the rally was a success in the eyes of the organizers who are preparing follow up actions.
