Anti-Imperialism Brought us Together, Hope Keeps us United!
In a newly released video, members of the Center for Political Innovation share personal stories about how they became involved in the organization and what they found through its educational programs and political activities. Several speakers describe attending CPI events and workshops where they were introduced to a critique of globalism/imperialism, as well as a vision for rebuilding America through economic development, community, and anti-imperialist politics.
Participants explain that CPI offered not only political education, but also a sense of belonging and purpose. Speakers recall packed meetings, lively discussions, and an atmosphere where people from different backgrounds could openly exchange ideas while working toward common goals. Members from around the country describe being inspired to become more active, form local chapters, and build lasting friendships through their involvement in the organization.
The video also highlights the role of optimism and personal development within CPI's political outlook. Reflecting on Caleb Maupin's writings and speeches, participants argue that successful political movements must be rooted in hope, solidarity, and confidence in the potential of ordinary people. The result is a testimonial to the organization's growing network of activists and its effort to build a movement centered on anti-imperialism, community, and national development.
