Center for Political Innovation to Hold National Convention in Chicago on July 12

The Center for Political Innovation (CPI) will host its National Convention on Saturday, July 12th at the Midwest Conference Center, located at 401 Lake Street, Northlake, IL. Doors open at 9:00 AM.

Titled “Working Families First: Defeat the Deep State, for a New World of Peace and Innovation,” the convention will begin with an opening session themed “Honoring Voices for Peace.” Awards will be presented to:

  • Angela McArdle, Chair of the Libertarian Party, for her leadership in organizing the Rage Against the War Machine protests in Washington, D.C. Her recent post on X, addressing the current political climate, has sparked anticipation: “Lots of things are up in the air. What is the America Party going to do? Who do we go after in the primaries? What should we focus on? I'll be making an announcement soon…”

  • Rev. Miilhan Stephens of the Boston Family Church, for his advocacy of peaceful reunification on the Korean Peninsula.

  • A representative of the People's Democratic Uhuru Movement, honored for the organization's principled defense of civil liberties and free speech in U.S. federal court.

The program will continue with remarks from Seyed Hosseini, an Iranian-American activist addressing recent U.S. attacks on Iran and prospects for peace, as well as Geoff Young, co-founder of the Kentucky Party and frequent congressional candidate. Keith Preston of attackthesystem.com will also speak, alongside CPI organizers and Latin American solidarity voices from across the country. Live music and cultural performances will take place throughout the day.

CPI founder and director Caleb Maupin will emcee the event and be available for book signings.

Light refreshments will be provided. On-site registration is required. Admission is free, though donations are appreciated.

Pre-registration and donations can be completed online
