Talking “Peace with Russia” at Jimmy Dore Show!

On Sunday, September 20th, members of the Center for Political Innovation (CPI) gathered outside Zanies for the Jimmy Dore show to pass out literature to attendees, receiving a great response from the crowd. Rain or shine, CPI members remain dedicated to delivering articles and analysis that matter to the American working class—those standing against big banks and private corporations.
We distributed our article on peace with Russia, which sparked positive conversations with attendees who agreed on the need to end the conflict between Ukraine and Russia. The piece highlighted the recent diplomatic efforts in Moscow by Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, offering hope for constructive outcomes. It also examined Eurasia's ongoing economic growth, emphasizing why the U.S. should collaborate with the region—including the proposal to build a Bering Strait "Peace Tunnel" connecting Alaska to Russia. Ending the war in Ukraine will foster joint economic opportunities between Russian and American corporations and redirect billions of dollars back toward jobs and education here at home.
The event was hosted by Jimmy Dore, with anti-imperialist journalist and editor at The Grayzone Max Blumenthal appearing as a special guest. Supporting independent voices like Dore and Blumenthal is critical in a climate where corporate elites and authorities target independent commentary. This includes figures like Caleb Maupin, leader of CPI, who was recently interrogated after serving as an election observer and speaking at the World Public Assembly on September 18th, 2026, as well as Blumenthal himself, who was detained by U.S. Customs and Border Protection on July 10th, 2025, after attending the funeral of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei—who was killed in a joint U.S.-Israeli operation on February 28th, 2026.
During these difficult economic and geopolitical times, coming together for good laughs and solidarity at Jimmy Dore's show was essential. It was inspiring to see people unite around the understanding that working families must organize against elite oligarchs. This is why we are building a government of action for working-class families.
