Sharing Peace Bridge vision at Allianz Field
As Trump and Carney fight over tariffs and “free trade,” Americans and Canadians came together for a friendly game of soccer. On October 6, 2026, the U.S. Men's National Team (USMNT) and the Canadian Men's National Team (CanMNT) played in a match with over 19,000 fans cheering them on.
CPI member Penny Arcos designed a palm card with a green maple leaf turning yellow and fire engine red at the edges. The changing leaf pointed away from a scene of war and towards a shiny red bullet train racing through misty karst mountains at dawn. A New World is Rising was the message.
With an American flag and CPI's four-point plan tied to a railing along the path to the lot, and a tripod and phone tied to the opposite railing, Penny carried a poster of the Peace Bridge vision and offered palm cards to soccer fans as they filed towards the stadium.
Many people just walked on by. But Penny had spent weeks envisioning excited fans taking palm cards and engaging in conversation about the prospects of connecting America to the rising economies in the East. The Bering Strait tunnel, a railway connecting Alaska to Russia, would pivot America away from the British Empire economic system controlled by Wall Street and London. The Peace Bridge, as CPI calls it, would open up endless opportunities for economic growth and development.
While waiting for Gary to arrive, Penny lightened the mood with a few songs. As families piled off the train and security guards stared at the spectacle unfolding in front of the iconic giant silver loon at the entrance to the lot, Penny shouted into the megaphone, “We need a government of action that fights for working families!” She explained how Wall Street was holding back development around the world with endless wars and how building the Peace Bridge is the way forward.
Between all the singing and chanting and shouting, hundreds of passersby took palm cards and read the message on the back. Some fans wanted to know more and engaged in meaningful dialogue about Imperialism and war and economic development.
As daylight turned to dusk, at long last Gary appeared in a cluster of fans crossing the street. Being the good sport that he is, Gary jumped right into action. He learned the new Peace Bridge song and remembered songs from previous outreach events, such as the Bassem Youssef Comedy Show at Pantages Theater.
As fans continued to stream towards Allianz Field, red, white and blue fireworks erupted from the stadium and climbed high into the night sky. A line of simultaneous lava red eruptions danced on the juniper glass of the building behind Gary and the American flag and the CPI display. Penny and Gary took turns singing and chanting and passing out palm cards until the kickoff.
Overall, the outreach was productive. Hundreds and hundreds of people from Canada and America learned about CPI and The Peace Bridge. The Minnesota chapter of CPI gained more outreach experience and added another song to their collection. Even more importantly, outreach events are opportunities for members to build camaraderie and to forge lasting friendships.
We are building an In-Real-Life, Pro-Growth, Pro-Humanity Movement. Our goal is to pivot America away from the Imperialist/Globalist system of endless wars and towards the multipolar world based on win-win trade and development that is rising in the East.
