NEW BOOK - Africa’s Flame: The Rise of Ibrahim Traoré
In the lead-up to our July 12th national convention, the Center for Political Innovation (CPI) held a powerful demonstration in support of Ibrahim Traoré, the revolutionary leader of Burkina Faso. The event made a notable impact, receiving coverage on several African YouTube channels as a significant act of international solidarity.
CPI has many activities planned in the coming months to honor Traoré and raise awareness about his pro-growth policies, which are lifting up the people of Burkina Faso while opposing globalism and imperialism. One such initiative is the release of a new book by Minneapolis-based CPI organizer Penny Arcos.
The book, titled Africa’s Flame: The Rise of Ibrahim Traoré, is now available on Amazon. The description reads:
A revolution is rising in West Africa—and the world is watching.
When Captain Ibrahim Traoré took power in Burkina Faso, he didn’t just change the politics—he ignited a movement. Africa’s Flame tells the electrifying story of how one of the world’s poorest nations is defying globalism/imperialism, expelling foreign troops, nationalizing its resources, and building a sovereign future—one pineapple, one fish farm, and one tomato plant at a time.
From bold anti-imperialist speeches at the Russia-Africa Summit to grassroots tomato cooperatives and floating fish farms funded by the people, Traoré is leading a pro-growth, pro-human revolution in the spirit of Thomas Sankara. With inspiring images, data-rich reporting, and revolutionary passion, this book reveals how Burkina Faso is turning hunger into self-reliance, corruption into patriotism, and neocolonialism into ashes.
Whether you're a student of geopolitics, a Pan-Africanist, or simply hungry for hope in a chaotic world, this book is a must-read.
The book is available for sale on Amazon, and will be on hand for purchase at the July 12th convention in Chicago.
