Noah Shenk, Vice Chair of the Center for Political Innovation was featured as an analyst throughout the daily news-coverage of the US Midterm elections on PressTV, a Tehran based international television program on November 3rd.
Shenk highlighted rising prices, the economic concerns of the American people and growing discontent with American foreign policy. He also pointed to how the blockade of the strait of Hormuz has directly contributed to the discontent of the MAGA base.
“Gas prices are a major concern for Americans as well as the rising cost of food. Diesel is sitting at $6.30 per gallon, Trump is trying to bring in Russian fuel to alleviate that concern, he has also claimed he wants to bring an end to the conflict in Ukraine as well as that he could end the conflict in the Middle-East whenever he wants but as far as Americans are concerned its all a bunch of bluster”
Shenk then pointed to this election as a referendum on the status quo, and of American support for Israel; as well as the Trump administration's illegal war on Iran.
“Trump Ran on lowering prices for Americans and he ran on ‘no new wars,’ and since he’s come in he’s started 2 new wars, doing everything he can to make sure Israel is not held accountable for it’s genocide against the Palestinian people”
