Anti-War Candidate’s Family Facing Retaliation from ICE?

Jose Vega, who is running for the U.S. House of Representatives in New York’s 15th Congressional District, announced on social media that his step-father had been illegally detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). He stated that he believes this may be retaliation from Richie Torres, the pro-Israel Democrat he is running against in the Bronx.

Vega posted a video on Twitter making the announcement, followed by another video describing the circumstances outside the ICE detention facility in New Jersey. Both videos can be viewed on his X account.
