Anti-Imperialist October - Timeline of Innovationism on the March!
The Center for Political Innovation is THE anti-imperialist movement in the United States. We are dedicated to being in the streets and engaging in serious, on-the-ground political education and action.
In just one month — October of 2025 — the organization has carried out huge, historic activities, not only in the United States but around the world.
Here is a timeline from “Anti-Imperialist October 2025.”
Timeline
October 4th – CPI held a national day of action to support peace talks with Russia. Protests were held in Minneapolis, Chicago, Portland, and Los Angeles.
October 7th – CPI members attended and documented pro-Palestine demonstrations highlighting the continued slaughter in Gaza.
October 17th – CPI founder Caleb Maupin traveled to Russia and attended an important gala in Moscow at the Bolshoi Ballet Theatre. Russian President Vladimir Putin was in attendance, as were Ecuadorian President Rafael Correa, Scott Ritter, George Galloway, and hundreds of other important anti-imperialist voices from around the world.
October 18th – CPI issued a national call to disrupt the “No Kings” rallies organized by the Democratic Party, declaring “Hands Off Venezuela!” Responding to the call, CPI intervened in Chicago, Minneapolis, Iowa, Los Angeles, and Joshua Tree, California.
October 24th – CPI founder Caleb Maupin greeted Kirill Dmitriev, CEO of the Russian Direct Investment Fund, upon his arrival in New York City to meet with Trump administration officials to negotiate peace in Ukraine and discuss a proposed tunnel over the Bering Sea connecting Alaska to Russia. That evening, CPI activists assembled in Times Square for an anti-imperialist rally, holding placards depicting Putin and Trump shaking hands.
October 27th – CPI launched an outreach campaign aimed at food banks across the country. Food banks are bracing for increased demand as 42 million Americans are set to lose food assistance due to the government shutdown on November 1st.
This is what real anti-imperialist organizing looks like — not internet streamers putting others down and engaging in childish antics to get likes and shares. Not tailing the liberals and echoing the Trump Derangement Syndrome of the Democratic Party. Not inciting different demographics in the country against each other.
CPI is dedicated to putting forward a vision of a new America — one that joins with the BRICS world as brothers, and is reborn with a government of action that fights for working families. CPI continues to engage in anti-imperialist education at every opportunity.
We invite people from across the country to join us in New Jersey on January 11th for an important event to kick off the new year. Mark your calendar!
